Our story began the way many great ones do — across a table, cocktail in hand, dreaming about what could be.
Melanie’s love for hospitality was born at Earl’s, once a Valley staple where regulars felt like family and service was a language of friendship. It’s where she discovered the art of the perfect pour and the beauty of a crafted cocktail paired with Leroy’s crispy dry ribs or the California shrimp pizza with a side of parm dip (if you know, you know). She fell in love not just with hospitality, but with the emotion behind it — the ambiance of a setting, the intimacy of a lived experience, the way a moment can linger when it’s been thoughtfully prepared.
James, on the other hand, came to the glass more slowly. A few date nights, a shared glass of wine, and a growing appreciation for Arizona’s thriving culinary scene sparked something deeper. From bourbon tastings to late-night fireside cigars, he found relaxation in the ritual. Together, we turned our home into a reflection of our passions — a personal cocktail lounge blending suede with leather, brass with plaid, London flair with Arizona ease.
As our kids have grown and gone, we’ve asked ourselves: What if we could turn those soul-filling evenings into something bigger?
